Type specimen: TsSGM 2003/54, a shell (Articulated shell). Its type locality is Artist-Yurege River, Outcrop 100, Ulakhan-Krest Fm, Kengdey River, Kharaulakh, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Ulakhan-Krest Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology: facultatively mobile deep infaunal suspension feeder
