Type specimen: PV 0611 T, a partial skull. Its type locality is Faxinal do Soturno, Linha São Luiz, which is in a Norian fluvial siltstone/sandstone in the Caturrita Formation of Brazil.

Distribution: found only at Faxinal do Soturno, Linha São Luiz
