Type specimen: Geol Mus, Rostov State Univ 11/1, a valve (Right valve). Its type locality is Tenke River upper reaches, o.p. 43, Okhotsk Massif, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Omchak Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder
