Sister taxa: Subvishnuites enveris, Subvishnuites posterus, Subvishnuites stokesi, Subvishnuites welteri
Type specimen: NIGP 33937. Its type locality is Changma River Yu II-211-F-11, Maqen County, which is in a Spathian marine horizon in the Bayankalashan Formation of China.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Changma River Yu II-211-F-11, Maqen County
