Type specimen: GSC 14042. Its type locality is GSC 32373, Arthaber Creek, Axel Heiberg Island, which is in a Griesbachian marine siliciclastic in the Blind Fiord Formation of Canada.

Distribution:

• Triassic of Canada (13: Nunavut collections), Svalbard and Jan Mayen (1)

Total: 14 collections each including a single occurrence
