- Aspidothorax maculatus: MNHN.F.R51271, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
- Aspidothorax nanus: MNHN.F.R52935, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll)
