Sister taxon: Ningchengia minuta
Type specimen: NIGP 149409, a wing (Forewing (on part) and hindwing (on counterpart)). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP collection)
