Type specimen: GSC 56847, an exoskeleton (cranidium). Its type locality is Catoche Formation type section, which is in a Cassinian open shallow subtidal limestone/dolomite in the Catoche Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
