Type specimen: GSC 56859, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Catoche Formation type section, which is in a Cassinian open shallow subtidal limestone/dolomite in the Catoche Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Arenig of Greenland (1 collection)

• Ordovician of Canada (11: Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador), Norway (1)

Total: 13 collections each including a single occurrence
