Belongs to Parahystricurus according to R. J., Jr. Ross 1951

Sister taxa: Parahystricurus bispicatus, Parahystricurus fraudator, Parahystricurus oculirotundus, Parahystricurus pustulosus, Parahystricurus smithiae

Type specimen: YPM 18011, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Locality 5, Hillyard's Canyon, Zone "E", which is in a Stairsian shallow subtidal limestone in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Canada (1: Newfoundland collection), United States (2: Idaho)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
