Sister taxon: Permotupus ollieorum
Type specimen: LdLAP 445, a hindwing. Its type locality is F44, le Planas, Lodève Basin, which is in a Kungurian fluvial-deltaic claystone/siltstone in the Salagou Formation of France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at F44, le Planas, Lodève Basin
