Type specimen: USNM 116521, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Loc. 7, bridge east of Edinburg, which is in a Blackriveran carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (4: Virginia collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
