Type specimen: MNEMG 1996.93, a wing (incomplete wing). Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB36c, Hard Cockle Beds, Swanage, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal marl in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Durlston Bay, Bed DB36c, Hard Cockle Beds, Swanage
