Type specimen: MNHN-LP-R 55232, an exoskeleton (complete female). Its type locality is Daohugou (MNHN collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (MNHN collection)
