Sister taxon: Gyatermes naganoensis
Type specimen: LMJ 204.148, a forewing (imago forewing). Its type locality is Paldau, which is in a Tortonian pond siltstone in the Paldau Formation of Austria.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Paldau
