Type specimen: JME AP 1997/4a,b, a hindwing. Its type locality is Crato (JME collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Crato (JME collection)
