Type specimen: NFM F-209, a pygidium. Its type locality is CN-1-16, which is in a Cassinian peritidal lime mudstone/wackestone in the Catoche Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Canada (3: Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador collections), Norway (1)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
