Type specimen: BMNH I 3526, a hindwing. Its type locality is Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck
