Type specimens:
- Benthamaspis conica: GSC 56873, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Catoche Formation type section, which is in a Cassinian open shallow subtidal limestone/dolomite in the Catoche Formation of Canada.
- Benthamaspis hintzei: NFM F-175, a pygidium. Its type locality is BH-95A-114, which is in a Cassinian peritidal lime mudstone/wackestone in the Catoche Formation of Canada.
- Oculomagnus obreptus: YPM 18201, a cephalon/head (cranidium).
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

• Tremadoc of Canada (1: Alberta)
