Type specimen: GSC 62312, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is GSC locality 92276, Outram Fm., Biozone G, Alberta, Canada - Dean 1989, which is in a Tremadoc transition zone/lower shoreface siltstone in the Outram Formation of Canada.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
