Sister taxon: Pauropteron miserum
Type specimen: PIN 2389/9, a wing (missing base). Its type locality is Sai-Sagul, Shurab III (PIN collection 2389), which is in a Toarcian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Sagul Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Sai-Sagul, Shurab III (PIN collection 2389)
