Type specimen: MGUAN PA 129, a partial skeleton (relatively complete skull with disarticulated postcranial elements). Its type locality is Bentiaba, which is in a Maastrichtian marine horizon in Angola.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Bentiaba
