Belongs to Karatavoblatta according to D. Ren 1995
Sister taxon: Karatavoblatta longicaudata
Type specimen: CNU LL 93010, an exoskeleton (adult female). Its type locality is Niehugou, Songzhangzi, Lingyuan City, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Niehugou, Songzhangzi, Lingyuan City
