Belongs to Sunoprophalangopsis according to D. Ren 1995
Sister taxa: Sunoprophalangopsis clathrata, Sunoprophalangopsis elegantis, Sunoprophalangopsis scupta, Sunoprophalangopsis sparsula
Type specimen: BH91003, a tegmen. Its type locality is Haifanggou, Beipiao City (GMCB collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian terrestrial mudstone in the Haifanggou Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Haifanggou, Beipiao City (GMCB collection)
