Type specimen: GSC 4722, a valve (Left valve). Its type locality is Liard River, 25 miles below Devil's Portage, which is in a Spathian submarine fan siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.

• Triassic of Canada (4: British Columbia, Nunavut collections), the Russian Federation (3), Svalbard and Jan Mayen (11)

Total: 18 collections each including a single occurrence
