Sister taxa: Permomerope australis, Permomerope karaungirica, Permomerope nanus, Permomerope ramosa

Type specimen: NMSA 2568a, a forewing. Its type locality is Bulwer (Bul 111), which is in a Changhsingian delta plain shale in the Estcourt Formation of South Africa.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Bulwer (Bul 111)
