Type specimen: NM 2733, a forewing. Its type locality is Bulwer (Bul 111), which is in a Changhsingian delta plain shale in the Estcourt Formation of South Africa.
Ecology: volant detritivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Bulwer (Bul 111)
