Type specimen: EWU Bz 101. Its type locality is Gerster Ls., Medicine Range Section, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal packstone/lime mudstone in the Gerster Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Gerster Ls., Medicine Range Section
