Type specimen: Eotvos University A1100. Its type locality is Bánya-hegy trench, Gerecse Mts, bed No. 16, which is in a Toarcian basinal (carbonate) marl in the Kisgerecse Formation of Hungary.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Bánya-hegy trench, Gerecse Mts, bed No. 16
