Type specimen: USNM 170273. Its type locality is USNM731, Pinyon Tank, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Wordian slope limestone in the Bell Canyon Formation of Texas.

Distribution: found only at USNM731, Pinyon Tank, Guadalupe Mountains
