Type specimen: NMMNH P-62979. Its type locality is JJ7-75, Hot Springs Ridge (JJ-HSDE), Bear Lake, which is in a Spathian marine shale in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution:
