Type specimen: Hungarian Natural History Museum M 2008.391.1., a shell. Its type locality is Bakony Mts., Kericser (Lókút), section VI Bed No. 8, which is in a Margaritatus carbonate limestone in the Hierlatz Formation of Hungary.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
