Type specimen: MFM250001, a partial shell (tail plate). Its type locality is Ichihashi Quarry, Kinshozan, Akasaka, which is in a Capitanian shallow subtidal packstone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer

Distribution: found only at Ichihashi Quarry, Kinshozan, Akasaka
