Belongs to Rugaria according to N.V. Kalashnikov 1993
Sister taxa: Rugaria crassa, Rugaria exquisita, Rugaria hessensis, Rugaria molengraaffi, Rugaria semicircularis
Type specimen: KNTs UrO PAN 211/106. Its type locality is Liur-Yaga River, Section 30, Pai-Khoy Range, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Lekvorkuta Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Liur-Yaga River, Section 30, Pai-Khoy Range
