Type specimen: NIGP 39871. Its type locality is Zhongying Section Bed 38 (QZ-26), Qinglong County, which is in a Changhsingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dalong Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Zhongying Section Bed 38 (QZ-26), Qinglong County
