Type specimen: MMHF3-0008, a hindwing (base of wing). Its type locality is Okubata, Omine Area, which is in a Carnian terrestrial shale in the Momonoki Formation of Japan.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Okubata, Omine Area
