Type specimens:
- Perigeyerella fastigiata: NIGP 74166. Its type locality is Dapaichong, Huatang, Chenxian County, which is in a Changhsingian shallow subtidal limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
- Perigeyerella altilosina: USNM 45996. Its type locality is Xikou Section, Zhen'an County, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Longdongchuan Formation of China.
- Perigeyerella subpelargonatus: Its type locality is Lengwu, lower Cunhouling Member, Tonglu, which is in a Capitanian coastal siliciclastic in the Lengwu Formation of China.
