Type specimen: CNU-COL-LB2008892, an exoskeleton (complete beetle, probably female). Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2008 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
