Sister taxon: Mariliasuchus amarali

Type specimen: UFRJ-DG 56-R, a partial skeleton (Partially preserved skull with mandibule and other non-articulated elements (skull fragments, post cranial remains and an isolated caniniform tooth). Its type locality is Road to Fazenda Doreto, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Road to Fazenda Doreto
