Sister taxa: Neoeridotrypella astrica, Neoeridotrypella missionensis, Neoeridotrypella pulchra, Neoeridotrypella schilti
Type specimen: PIN 3947/193. Its type locality is Upper Butakova River, Outcrop 19746-18, Novaya Zemlya, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Savina Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Upper Butakova River, Outcrop 19746-18, Novaya Zemlya
