Type specimen: MCZ 7, an exoskeleton (complete female). Its type locality is Florissant (MCZ Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore

Distribution: found only at Florissant (MCZ Collection)
