Type specimen: YPM 12976, a shell. Its type locality is SL-1. Headwaters of Feefee Creek, north of Olive St. & west of Lindberg Blvd., 1.5 km northwest of Stratmann (Olivette), which is in a Moscovian offshore shale in the Appanoose Formation of Missouri.

Distribution:

• Permian of United States (1: Wyoming collection)

• Carboniferous of United States (10: Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, West Virginia)

Total: 11 collections each including a single occurrence
