Type specimen: Coll Packard 259(260), a wing (nearly perfect). Its type locality is Green River (Packard Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Green River (Packard Collection)
