Sister taxon: Curviarculia delicata

Type specimen: MLP 28866, a forewing (basal 4/5 of forewing). Its type locality is El Garabatal, which is in a Paleocene lacustrine - small carbonate in the Maíz Gordo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at El Garabatal
