Type specimen: MCZ 5866, a forewing. Its type locality is Elmo, MCZ 1932 collection Lower Limestone, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.

Distribution: found only at Elmo, MCZ 1932 collection Lower Limestone
