  • Holcoptera schlotheimi: NHMUK I.10783, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Apperley, which is in a Rhaetian terrestrial horizon in the Lilstock Formation of the United Kingdom.
  • Holcoptera confluens: USNM 61407, an elytra. Its type locality is Lower Lias (Brodie coll), which is in a Rhaetian/Hettangian marine shale/limestone in the United Kingdom.
