Belongs to Samaroblattella according to E. F. Riek 1976
Sister taxon: Samaroblattella kenderlykensis
Type specimen: C-Dt II 766ab, a tegmen (complete except for clavus). Its type locality is Bird's River (C-Dt II), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - small shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Bird's River (C-Dt II)
