Type specimen: C-Dt II 792ab, a forewing (missing parts). Its type locality is Bird's River (C-Dt II), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - small shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Triassic of Lesotho (1 collection), South Africa (2)
