Type specimen: NIGP 130409, a tegmen (with basal half missing). Its type locality is Nan'anchihai, Shawan County, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian fluvial sandstone in the Badaowan Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Nan'anchihai, Shawan County
