Type specimen: PIN 1712/16. Its type locality is Khovsgol Somon, Unit 1, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Khovsgol Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Khovsgol Somon, Unit 1
